If you are among the group that takes exercise seriously, then you need a lot of rest. If you have been working out very hard, it is important that you give your body time to rest. A rest of six to seven hours in a day is important. The body needs to time to revive and gain back the energy lost. Remember you still want this energy for tomorrow. People ignore this aspect of rest, but what rest can do to your body, nothing else can.
Nutrition should not be forgotten
This is the fourth pillar to good health. After putting into consideration, the above, nutrition should never be left out. Working out very hard can help with gaining good health, but the lack of proper nutrition can seriously affect it. Take fresh food, vegetables, juices and fruits every day. Your diet must be a combination of proteins, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins.
